1. Cookies actually set

Both are first-party cookies set by begbud.com, marked Secure and SameSite=Lax; bb_order is also HttpOnly. Under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and the CNIL's guidance, cookies strictly necessary to provide a service the user requested do not require prior consent.

2. What is not used

• No Google Analytics or any other audience-measurement tool.
• No advertising, retargeting or conversion pixels.
• No social-network buttons or embedded third-party players.
• No fingerprinting, and no profile is built from your visit.

3. Third parties during payment

When you pay, you are handed to the payment service provider's secure page, which sets its own cookies to run and secure the transaction. Those are governed by that provider's own policy. You return to begbud.com as soon as the payment completes.

4. Refusing or deleting cookies

Every browser lets you view, block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking the two cookies above does not prevent you reading the site, but it prevents the checkout from recognising your order — you would not be able to complete a purchase online. In that case, contact us at [email protected] and we will arrange the order another way.

5. Server logs

Independently of cookies, the server records the usual technical log entries (IP address, time, requested page, user agent) for security and availability. They are kept 12 months and are described in the privacy policy.
